At Beacon Industries, we are pleased to announce the completion of a new order of mobile dock ramps for a European customer. The equipment has passed final inspection and is now being prepared for container loading and overseas shipment.

Production Completed
The production of all 15 mobile dock ramps has been completed successfully. These ramps are designed to allow forklifts to move directly between ground level and shipping containers, improving loading efficiency while reducing labor requirements.
Due to the recent increase in ocean freight costs caused by tensions affecting international shipping routes, the customer has decided to ship the equipment in stages.
A 40-foot high-cube container can accommodate 5 mobile dock ramps. The first container will be shipped immediately, while the remaining two containers will be dispatched later when freight rates become more favorable.
Improved Guardrail Design
One notable feature of this project is the upgraded guardrail structure.
In the past, removable guardrails were used to reduce overall dimensions during container loading. For this project, the customer approved a revised design with a lower guardrail height.
Because the guardrails are now lower, they can be permanently welded to the platform while still allowing efficient container loading.
This design offers several advantages:

Reduced maintenance
Better long-term reliability
Six Different Colors in One Order
Another interesting aspect of this order is the color selection.
The customer requested six different colors for the 15 units. Seeing multiple colors together during final assembly creates a vibrant and distinctive appearance compared with traditional single-color batches.
The colorful fleet of dock ramps will soon begin its journey to Europe.
